Prophecy For 2009

I received a prophetic word from the Lord concerning the corporate church and I would like to release this in accordance with the new year. I believe this is not all that the Lord desires to say, but this what he has shared with me so far. I pray he continues to reveal more prophetic words.

This is the year where God is removing the reproach from the bride (church). I will prepare me a glorious bride prepared for intimacy. For in past time she could not enter in, because of her lack of holiness. But now I desire to show myself to her in all my glory for will only dwell within the midst of a Holy People. I desire to dwell with a peculiar people.

I desire to make a chosen generation and I desire to make my abode in the hearts of my people. I desire to live there perpetually and continually. I will love their hearts and by my Spirit I will draw them closer to me. I will woo them by my unfailing love and I will restore the beauty of my people and cause the kings and the nations to glory again. For “Ichabod” is being removed from the hearts of many and I will return with my glory. For it grieved me that I left their heart and I desire to return to live so that my people will begin to shew forth my praises because I brought them out of darkness in to my marvelous light. They will come into my light and experience my love. My glory returns. The tangible weightiness of my glory returns upon my people. My glory thunders in the spirit. Although you do not see it naturally, My glory is thundering in the camp of the enemy. Because of your faithfulness. I will remove the reproach from my people. I will cause them to stand with strength power and glory by my unfailing grace.
My grace and glory will return to empower my people to seek after me again. For many have abandoned the seek. I place a hunger on the inside of my people. I create a hunger. And even as my people hunger. I will fill. I will fill and overflow into many generations and the relationships that surround them. I will overflow with my love. My love will overflow and they will know my glory is yet alive. They will realize that I am a faithful God. And I am unchanging. So declare to my people to come and be intimate with me so that I can share measures of how I am with each of them. I desire to share my self and give myself to my people. For they will have tokens and deposits of who I am to take into the new year. And one deposit of my glory will carry them for a lifetime. I will give them much to sustain them. For there are treacherous times ahead. But my people will be sustained by me. They will have the deposit of my glory to sustain them through these times.

Family Ministering 101: During the Holidays

 

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and Christmas and New Years will be coming soon and when this time comes around you find that being saved becomes very interesting. Why? Well. Holidays can either make or break your witness before your family and friends.  I will explain what I mean but first let me say this. If the majority of your family members are believers, then bless GOD!! That is an excellent thing, but this post is intended for the other 80% of us where we are one of the few that believe in Christ amongst family members. They may have a cerebral idea of God and/or Jesus Christ or don’t believe at all. Some of you even have family members that believe in alternative religions.

 

For this reason, when the holidays approach, we get nervous, anxious, and fearful because opinions, ideas, and perceptions clash. It is usually not in a good way. Also, most of our unsaved loved ones remember us when we were unsaved as well and sometimes it is difficult for them to embrace the new “you” that God has created you to be. Some of them will even remind you of past hurts, addictions, pains, and desires as an attempt to keep you on their level. However, during the holidays, God wants your witness to be strong. We don’t want to become a stumbling block.

 

So, here are few tips that would help it be an painless gathering and God can be glorified through your life.

 

·        Prayer for Family- Pray prior to spending time with family and be open to any directions from the Lord to minister.

·        Don’t Force Feed- Don’t shove scriptures down your family members’ throat. There is nothing worse than an overzealous family member trying to minister every scripture in the Bible. It does not work. You will cause more harm than good. Lose the need to prove your point! I know this one personally.

·        Be Wise with your Words- Even though we stand for Christ, some family members wait for an opportunity to pounce on something you said to make you feel like the bad guy! Be strategic! Inquire of the Lord the best approach and speak clearly and understandably so that nothing is taken out of context.

·        Prophesy through Conversation- For those of you that flow in the prophetic, speak prophetic words under the guise of advice or counsel. In order for your words to be taken seriously, they don’t have to begin with “God says!”

·        Love Covers All- Please refrain from pointing out flaws, inabilities, shortcomings in other family members. This is a recipe for disaster! It only produces strife, hurt and anger. Most family members are aware of their flaws so they don’t need to be repeated by you. It only makes you appear self-righteous and your words from that point are of none effect. Remember Love covers a multitude of sin.

·        Watch the Flesh Reaction- Be careful not to react in your flesh. The enemy knows what family member pushes your buttons or what this person does that you don’t like. Be careful not to react to it because you will be framed as the crazy one. Prior to visiting, take a personal inventory of things that may have the potential to irritate you and guard those areas of your soul.

 

 

I cannot list everything but these are some strategies that will help you get started. Remember more than anything. Be lead by the Holy Spirit. Let wisdom direct you.

The Genesis of CHANGE

CHANGE.

 

A very recognizable word and it has not been more prominent until this time. As Barack Obama, the newly elected president of the United States of America, built his entire campaign on this ONE word. He understood that not only the American people, but the entire world, needed and demanded the manifestation of what this one word entailed. He was distinctive in his message making many references to Martin Luther King Jr. and presenting to the world hope that the climate of this nation had the potential to reverse from practices of bigotry, selfishness, and greed to unity, hope, and peace.

 

Many thought this was a new concept, mantra, or belief and praised the Illinois senator for tailoring such a magnificent campaign around that word. Change is a powerful word, because the essence of it sparks the possibility of a new reality that was once impossible to attain. However, this word originated far from American soil and was spoken from lips of an unpopular teacher or scribe. Here is what he said:

 

Matthew 4:17 (King James Version)

 

“17.From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

 

Yes! Jesus Christ captured the real essence of change when He asked men to REPENT! Although his approach was hated and teachings were scorned, He trail blazed the original idea of change or in his particular message Repentance.

 

You see! Although, change and repentance carry similar meanings, they differ in application. Repentance requires real change in our hearts and souls. I am afraid we can ride the Change train for the next 4 years, but until real repentance occurs this nation will never be changed. Every proposal, venture, or bill will be short-lived because you cannot change this nation outside of Christ. This nation needs repentance! Only God carries the life altering ability to do that.

 

It’s apparent from the millions that voted that this nation wants CHANGE which explains that we all as humanity have a need for a savior.  We must wake up and see God has been trying to change for decades. Instead of embracing change, let us embrace repentance which is what the Father is after!

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The Forerunners Must Arise

This is a Prophetic word from the Lord for the end-time Church:

In the Book of Joshua, we see the children of Israel walking in obedience to the Law of God.  We observe them walking in the statutes and the judgments of the written Law of the Lord.  Because of their obedience to the Lord, they conquered and defeated every enemy that rose against them, and everyone they set their hands against.  As the Bible transitions into the Book of Judges, however, the children of Israel turn from their path.

 

Judges 2:7

 

So the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the Lord which He had done for Israel.

 

The Word of God says that the people of God “served the Lord all the days of Joshua and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua…”  It goes on to say that the people of God served Him while the elders were still alive; the elders who saw the mighty works God did for them.  Yet when all the elders died, the children of Israel turned from following the Law of God, and fell into sin and unfaithfulness before the Lord.

 

Judges 2:10-14

 

When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.  Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served the Baals; and they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt; and they followed other gods from among the gods of the people who were all around them, and they bowed down to them; and they provoked the Lord to anger.  They forsook the Lord and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.  And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel.  So He delivered them into the hands of plunderers who despoiled them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies

 

After the generation who saw the mighty works of the Lord died off, a new generation of people arose who did not know the Lord.  This generation led themselves into sin and idol worship, as well as other foul sins before the throne of the Lord.  So over the course of the next 1000 years or so, God sent Prophet after Prophet to warn the people of the judgment and doom to come upon them, and to guide them back into a lifestyle of holiness and obedience before the Lord.  From Samuel to Malachi, the Lord called for Israel to come back into obedience to His Word.  Yet even after all of His patience and love, the people of Israel did not listen.  Israel did not heed the words of the holy Prophets of God.  So God went on to finally send His Son to the Earth to accomplish His work.  Yet before Jesus was manifested in the “sight” of the people as the Son of Glory, God sent a FORERUNNER named John the Baptist.  John the Baptist prepared the people of God, as well as sinners, for the coming of the Christ.  John the Baptist spoke a message of holiness and righteousness to the people.  He stressed the importance of repentance from dead works and turning away from sin.  He opened the eyes of those who were confessing to be holy, causing them to realize that they were some of the most sinful people on the face of the Earth.

 

Luke 3:7-9

 

Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “Brood of vipers!  Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’  For I say to you that God is able to raise up children of Abraham from these stones.  And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees.  Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

 

John the Baptist preached Jesus, and constantly and consistently spoke of His arrival.  He urged the people to turn from their wicked and perverse ways, because the coming of the Christ was soon upon them.  This sequence of events is exactly what we see now in the Body of Christ.  While people of God such as William Seymour, Smith Wigglesworth, Kathryn Kuhlman, Maria Woodworth-Etter, and John G. Lake (among others) were walking on upon the Earth, the people of God were living lives of holiness and deep devotion before God.  Christians were following the Word of God and living lives that were pleasing before the throne of God.  This is because (as Judges 2:7 states) the people saw the mighty works which God was doing.  Now when these men and women of renown, along with the generation who saw the works of God through them, left the Earth to be with the Lord, another generation arose who did not know the Lord.  People began rejecting the Word of the Lord and began walking in their own way.  People began falling into deep sins and unholy acts before God.  Brethren, we are living in that generation.

 

NOW IS THE TIME FOR THE FORERUNNERS TO ARISE AND DO THE WORK OF THE WORK OF THE LORD!  We must preach a message against sin and lawlessness.  We must open the eyes of the “church folk” to see that they are some of the most sinful people upon the face of the Earth.  We must speak to the world and Church about preparing themselves for the second coming of Jesus Christ.  We must preach a message of repentance from dead works and salvation before God.  God has become hot with anger against the Church, America, and the world, and is ready to breathe down fire from Heaven.  We must do the work He has called us to do.  YOU ARE THE FORERUNNERS!  Do the work of the Lord, for Jesus is coming, and it’s our job to get the people ready.  As we saw, it was obedience to God, His Word, and His servants that produced victory over Israel’s enemies.  Here is a spiritual truth for you: you can determine your level of obedience by your level of victory. We must do the work of the Lord, for the world is waiting, and victory will only be won through our obedience to the Lord.

A Prophetic Word about the Economic Crisis

I know this is not the normal post on the prophetic as I intended to do. However, I feel as this is a timely word. In the today’s economic crisis, many churches are in the face of heightened financial strain. Many members are opting to stay at home and watch church on TV for the sake of gas. Many have declined in paying tithes and offering. Those that are in full time ministry are feeling the pinch as expenses increase to travel and minister. Many of us we have to stand on the very word we have been preaching and believe the Lord that he will provide. As many times as we have spoken all of the provision scriptures in times where we were without lack. They are becoming ever more real to us now.

Many of us the Lord is moving and showing up as Provider. However, I want to encourage those were the bills are increasing and pay is decreasing which has enticed you to decline in ministry. Also, to the pastors and leaders who are struggling to minister because of the lack of adequate funds to maintain the church.

These scriptures really encouraged me.

Philippians 4:10-13.

Paul was writing this letter to the Philippian church. This scripture is very compelling. In verse 10, Paul was very excited because the provision that the church was providing for him while he was away had started to flourish again. Even though the church wanted to take care of the man of God, they lacked the opportunity at times

Then his letter takes a complete turn, He stated the reason for request support was not because he was in need, but because he understood contentment. He stated that he understood how to be content in all things. This is powerful you mean in his lack. There was no tangible element that could remove him from his purpose or from preaching the gospel. He understood how to be without and function and be sufficient.

TO ALL PASTORS, APOSTLES, INTERCESSORS, PROPHETS, AND THOSE IN MINISTRY

THE LORD SAYS: Remain content in all things. Lack and Insufficiency is not in excuse to drop out of the race and give up on what I have mandated you to do. If you will shift your mentality towards gain you will begin to see much fruitfulness in your life. It is an issue of faith and there is much grace available for you to stand in these times. Continue and don’t dwell on the provision because you will not lack bread. I desire to be the savior in your life but many of you are attempting to save yourself by your own strength, means and wisdom. Be encouraged! Though there is famine in the land. You will not suffer calamity. The house will not be in foreclosure. The car will not be repossessed. Your funds will not decrease. Place your strength in me. The economic crisis will not overtake you, but you must place your trust in me. I have made myself available for you.

Finally, YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENTHENS YOU.

The Greatest Work of Christ

I know, it’s been a long time since you have read something by me.  Well, be encouraged!  After a long hiatus, I have decided to come back and grace the ProphetSpace blog with some revelation from the Spirit!

John 14:12

“I tell you the truth, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

In the Body of Christ today, we hear a lot of talking going around.  We hear about people speaking that we are about to step into the greatest revival the land has ever seen.  Others are saying that a great end-time outpouring of the Spirit is quickly coming upon us.  Each one of these statements are true, but while there is a day coming for these things to come upon us, are we to just sit back and wait for them to manifest?  I beg the question: are we to participate in the miracles, signs, wonders, healing’s, deliverance’s, and manifestations of the Spirit just as Jesus did in His day on Earth, without accomplishing His greater work?

I know many people read this scripture and say, “Wow, that means if Jesus raised 15 people from the dead, then I can raise 30!”  Yes, you can!  But this is not exactly what He was speaking of.  You see, before the healings, before the miracles, before the casting out of demons, before the glorious raising from the dead, Jesus had to accomplish one task: death to self.

Now I know some people may be upset with me saying this, because Jesus was God in the flesh and He did not need to die to self.  Yet thats not what the Bible states.

Luke 4:1-2

“The Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted forty days by the devil.  And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.”

Jesus Christ was led by the Spirit not only to go into the wilderness, but also to fast forty days.  Now one thing anyone will learn as they begin to live a lifestyle of fasting is this: fasting shuts down the operation point of the enemy, which is the flesh.  Jesus was led to fast because the Spirit of God knew that He was going to be tempted of the devil.  This meant Jesus needed to shut down the place where the enemy would try to operate.  People, we must always remember, Jesus was just as much human as we are upon this Earth.  How else would He be qualified to redeem us?  Look at it this way: if Jesus Christ is the SECOND ADAM, then just like the FIRST ADAM, Jesus could have failed.  Don’t ever forget that Adam was completely God and completely flesh as well.  This is why Jesus had to fast, to cut off the place where the devil would try to snare.  Next, we see the result of His victory over the enemy:

Luke 4:14

“The Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit…”

After Jesus put Himself to death, and defeated the temptations of the enemy, He returned in the FULL power of the Spirit.  Peoples, are we higher than Jesus our Saviour?  If He had to put Himself to death and deal with the temptations of the enemy, why do we thing we won’t?  Let us stop acting like spoiled children.  The reason why some complain when they are tempted by the enemy is because they really don’t want to die to their flesh and partake in the true ministry of Jesus: the path of the Cross.  Don’t be like the children of Israel, who went through the wilderness MULTIPLE times.  WE must put ourselves to death and resist the wiles of the enemy, so that after we are done with the wilderness, we can be endowed with the full power of the Spirit for our life and ministry.

Positioning the Church for the Outpouring of End Time Wisdom.

I believe that we are definitely in the days of Daniel where God is entrusting political leadership in the hands of the church so that His structure be Supreme. In the midst, I see key people being placed in this arena perverting the Wisdom of God, prohibiting it from flowing through the mind of the President.

During this time the church must know what it means to “come out from amongst.. and be ye separate” (2 Corinthians 6:16-18).

This separation is for the receiving of unearthly wisdom. In this hour mans wisdom will fail and there will be a seek for answers. We must be the Answer to the Cry! God is calling for Deep Discipline in the daily lives of His people. We must number our days according to the Wisdom of God which means Decreasing so that he may Increase. This discipline is in the areas of: what we allow to come out of our mouths(!!!), food control and consumption, our finances, our time,. etc. Our daily lifestyle should mimic that of Daniels. We must pray for the direction for the next president.

Understand that as of now God is giving us a choice and isn’t forcing this upon anyone. We will Walk in the Spirit to the degree that we “Fellowship with Him.” Excellence, Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding must be groomed inside of us in order to know the secrets of God for the end of days. If you want results, humble yourself and enquire in His temple and He will reveal the beauty realm, which is His Glory. We need Gods truth to prevail. Position yourselves for the shifting of powers.
