Welcome to Prophet’s Space
You have been personally invited to share ideas, comments, and thoughts about Jesus. I created this blog in order to display and present an accurate assessment of current events in the body of Christ and in the world. Most of you know me I am an internet type person so I thought that this would be cool to talk about these issues. God is definitely doing a new thing in faithful believers of Him and as a kingdom people this is definitely a place where I would like to share the heart of God with you all. Look at it this way!! This is an open forum and anything posted I will take into consideration. I will gladly deliver prayer requests and multiple ideas that roll from the heart of God to my heart to this blog. I hope that you all will be actively involved in this blog and feel free to express yourself. I love the opinions and impression of other people. I have named this blog I want the truth because it is my desire that by the spirit of Truth I will find out what is real. Whatever I find out I will share.

Marcus what does it really mean for the “law”(word of God) to convert our souls? Is this a TOTALLY transformation? Are there any border lines or limits?? Why is this so foreign to Christians?

This is an awesome thing to do. As kingdom citizens we spend so much time speaking, disucssing & relating to issues that are not kingdom business. This is a great avenue to get us back focused on the kingdom’s business,our purpose in it & making sure the kingdom business gets done!!!

Their was an anonymous comment asking what does it mean for the word of God to convert our souls?
Well..Basically, The word of God comes to change us into the image of God. The area that is comes to change us in is our soul. The soul is comprised of the mind, will, emotions. The word of God comes to bring each of these areas in alignment with God.
First, we will start of with the mind. The bible makes several descriptions of the mind. Paul stated to the Phillipians to “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Phillipians 2:5. So, here we see Paul asking us to have the mind of Jesus. Currently, our minds have been corrupted with our sin nature. Romans 12:2 states “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” So ultimately our minds have to be changed transform from thinking like the world.
Second, Our will has to be converted. Our sin nature desires to seperate from God and follow our own hearts. Our will must be converted to serve God. When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, you see an excellent example of man’s will in conflict with God’s will. Jesus had suffered a lot in his ministry and now it was the time for him to do what he was born do and Jesus desired to back out of it. However, you see him utterly surrendering his will unto God. (Luke 22:40-42)This is were the conversion took place This takes a lot of trust in God because a lot us believe in our own will.
Lastly, our emotions must be converted so that we can express pure emotions to others and God. The fruits of the Holy Spirit manifest in our emotions. (Gal 5:22) I can go into detail about each emotion, but the main emotion is Love or the bible calls it Charity. Everything we do is void and null if we do not have love. We are nothing without it. It is the greatest. So, the word of God teaches and imparts the attributes of Love to your emotions so that you know how to love unconditionally like Christ.
The ultimate goal of all of this is to resemble Christ. There are not any border lines or limits. This transformation takes place day by day. Something in your soul that is not like Christ should die each day. Paul protest, ” I die daily”. (1 Corinthians 15:31) Which means he was committed.
For the word to convert our souls, it first has to go into our inward part just like in Jeremaih 31:33 the truth has to go in our minds and then written on our hearts. And at that point it will convert our souls, And then we will begin to see change.

Marcus I think this is definately an awsome way for men and women of the kingdon of God to spend quality time discussing Identity and the establishing of a closer relationship with God and one another. often times we become so caught up in our own thoughts and plans we forget that others may have revelations concerning identity and the thoughts of Christ that might help us find true intimacy.
Marcus I think this is an awsome opportunity for men and women of the Kingdom of God to come together and share new revelation concerning identy and intimacy with God the Father. I think we should really encourage others to join in.
I was very pleased by the writings that were given by you marcus. There is such a gifting for writing on your life. These present day truths will help bring in the lost. I hope that this will become a great place of ministry where Gods’ heart will be poured out with the spirit of truth. I’m so excitied to see more of this. Blessings
