Prophetic Declarations for 2008

Hey Guys, Here is some more insight for Year 2008. I feel like this is definitely timely.  Given by Revivalist Matt Sorger See below..

1. God is about to invade His church. Jesus is inspecting His Father’s temple. Some tables are going to be overturned this year. Don’t be dismayed when you see this happen. It is the hand of the Lord. God is refining the inward motives of the heart. Any work done with a selfish, self-seeking motive will not survive the refining fire.
Key Scriptures: Matt. 21:12; 1 Cor. 3:13, 4:5“

2.God is calling the church to return to and re-strengthen the foundations of our faith and personal walk with Him and our ministries. A refining fire is coming, and anything not built on a foundation of love will not stand the testing. God is inspecting our works. He wants work to be motivated by love and not to be empty activity. Some lamp stands will be removed this year. Anything not built on love will be shaken.
Key Scripture: Rev. 2:4-5“

3.There will be many ‘love tests’ this year. People will be given opportunities to grow in true Christ-like love. God will allow moments of difficulty and challenge to teach us to walk and live in love. He is taking us deeper into the gospel of the kingdom, which is to love God with all our hearts and to love people. God is really bringing a revival of true heartfelt love. God wants to invade whole cities and regions. The key that will unlock cities and bring a move of God like the Welsh Revival of 1904 will be the revelation and reality of kingdom love.

4. New ministries will be birthed this year. There will be another wave of launching ministries. God has been laying foundations, and now is the time to take action and step out into the fullness of the call of God. Some ‘good things’ will have to be let go of in order to lay hold of God’s best. It truly will be a season of ‘new beginnings’ for many.

5. The apostolic mandate will continue to mature and come into greater manifestation this year as the church is ‘sent by God’ into the marketplace, highways and byways to see the gospel of the kingdom advance forward. There will be a fresh emphasis on souls, church planting and  the discipline of new believers. We will see a new wave of evangelism released through apostolic order. God is stirring the body to aggressively pursue creative miracles and deliverance. Look for opportunities for God to move outside church meetings. If you make yourself available He will move in the most unexpected places.
Key Scriptures: Luke 14:23; John 1:6-8 

6.God will reveal to the church the true prosperity of the Lord. Any prosperity preached with a motive of greed and selfishness will be shaken down so the true prosperity of the Lord can shine forth. Only God knows the motives and intents of the heart. We must be careful not to prematurely judge people or ministries. Let God be the judge. God is refocusing our understanding of biblical prosperity with the truth that we are blessed so we can be a blessing to others and advance the kingdom of God in the earth. (Remember, prosperity is more than just finances. It also includes divine health, healing, protection, forgiveness, grace, joy, peace and much more..) God will continue to anoint people with creative business ideas for supernatural wealth to help fund the end-time harvest.

7. Foundational truths will be emphasized by the Holy Spirit, including the blood of Christ, the cross of Christ and salvation through repentance of sin. Key Scriptures: Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:14; Gal. 6:14
 

8.God is causing us to inspect and re-strengthen our foundation so He can bring multiplication and increase. Anything done with a pure motive and built on a foundation of selfless love will see a wonderful multiplication and increase this year. That which has a solid foundation will be multiplied in 2008.

9. God is teaching His people how to operate with authority from a position of rest. We must know how to use governmental kingdom authority from a place of resting in Christ’s finished work. Both dominion and rest are being highlighted by the Holy Spirit. This dominion will cause the enemy to be displaced out of the land of our inheritance so that we can not only possess it but also be multiplied in that land.Key Scriptures: Col. 1:13; Josh. 6:1-2, 15-16. 

10. An apostolic shift of focus is coming in how we view the ‘church.’ God will continue to give us understanding into the practical functions of the apostolic. He is shifting the vision of leaders [so that they see] beyond their own kingdom to His kingdom. A baptism of love will cause leaders to understand that ‘the church’ is not just their local congregations; it is the corporate body within that city, nation and world! Greater expressions will be given to the corporate church. God wants leaders and churches to have a heart for one another.“God wants to invade, awaken and transform whole regions and cities. Apostolic leaders will be raised up to transform local churches into holy habitations of God’s glory that release the body of Christ into greater fullness. Pastors and other five-fold ministries called to the apostolic will continue to shift this year in their vision and function. Some churches will make the transition from ‘local church’ to ‘regional apostolic centers.’ Through the apostolic we will see a greater merging together of the prayer movement, evangelism and church planting. The prayer movement and power movement will come together in a greater way.

11. This will be a year of understanding God’s great grace on many levels. We will hear a lot about grace, faith and love.Key Scriptures: Gal. 5:6; 1 Tim. 1:14 

12. Those given media mantles in 2007 will see an increase and expansion in the media in 2008. [Evidence of] God’s current-day move will be seen on both Christian and secular television. God is invading the airwaves with His glory. We will also see the ‘face’ of Christian TV changing.” 

The Spiritual Awakening

Hi All, Here is a prophetic message from a trusted friend of mine. I believe its definitely in alignment with what God is currently doing now. I pray that you are blessed.

“SPIRITUAL AWAKENING”

In this new season that the church is now entering into is a season of what I call “Spiritual Awakening”, which the Father is calling His church into a pursuit of spiritual tools and enlightenment in this season of transition. The Lord is getting His people well equipped for what is yet ahead. The Lord is calling forth His church into a place and position of intercession and warfare in a whole new dimension or what I call a “better way”? Moreover, the prophetic psalmist says in Psalms 63:1 “O God, You are my God; early will I seek You”. We can see that the Lord is summoning His people into a seeking position and mindset of prayer, supplication, and worship. What we call today’s church is not? God is looking for true worshippers and prophetic people who have the Father’s heart and mind concerning their leaders, churches, cities, states, regions, nations, and even their local governments. The first principal should be having a heart and desire to want to know what is on Father’s heart. We must seek the Lord earnestly to effectively intercede and get into a mode of extreme worship, where the Lord can release the resources, plans, purposes, substances, mysteries, and the destinies to His people in the earth realm.
The church must understand and precisely discern the moves of God and the paradigm shifts that are taking place. Consequently, the church has suffered and His people due to tradition but the Lord is ushering the church from tradition to a pioneering or cutting edge mindset and position. Many of God’s people are spiritually dead because we are not in a position to seek in Him for “Kingdom Revelation”. Revelation only comes with relationship with the Father as sons of God, after revelation there is illumination and then there’s manifestation. We want the manifestation without covenant relationship with the Father (God) and His Son. Manifestation can come through intimacy with the Holy Spirit which is the Helper, Comforter, and Counselor. God is spirit and He is still alive, we serve a living and life giving God. We do not worship a dead God. Ephesians 5:14 says “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light”. Light is revelation, its illumination of God’s word, Christ gives up life and He is the Light. In addition, the reason for being dead spiritually is due to old mindsets, traditions of men, religion, carnality, sin, deception, doctrinal error, denominations, legalism, and church as usual. There is a spiritual awakening that is surely coming to earth, through strategic intercession, decree, declaration, worship, and warfare. We must arise from the spirit of slumber, procrastination, and delay and walk into our divine callings, mantels, offices, and ministries.
Furthermore, the church must fulfill God’s original purpose and plan for man on earth as it is in heaven according to Matthew 6:10, which I call “Kingdom Mandate” the Kingdom of God is a spiritual world that is around us. God is commanding His people the church to move into kingdom age and the church must arise from the things that would easy be set us. Moreover, we must take a stand for what is right in the eyes of the Lord and begin to walk in boldness, love, power, wisdom, and light (revelation). The church must begin to have a relationship with their revelation (Christ) and operate in the gifts of the spirit. We must do and live what we preach, teach, and prophesy and not miss the moves of the Spirit of God. Consequently, the church is lacking and missing this new wine skin is due to ignorance, religion, tradition, sin, and stubbornness. There is a sound in the spirit, this sound that we should hear is the Father’s voice which the prophet Samuel heard in that place and position of prayer, intercession, revelation, and authority. We must see that there is a new wine skin that the Lord is releasing and there is a change of the guards. The church as whole should come out of that one-man only mentality or Moses probe but enter into a new covenant and anointing. The Lord is rising up a militant army of young leaders with a Joshua, Elisha, David, Solomon, Timothy, Joel, Hanna, Nehemiah, and Deborah type of apostolic/prophetic anointing. We must awake and arise from compromising and take a bold stand and preach the Kingdom of God which is Christ. The gospel has not changed nor is it was intended to be monotheism or another denomination. There is a spiritual awakening that is hitting the earth and those who are yielded and open to the shift, will receive the power, revelation, spiritual insight, wisdom, and heavenly inheritance. Isaiah 52:1 says, “Awake, Awake, put on your strength, O Zion”. The first awake means the old call for spiritual alertness and awareness. The second awake is the new call from old to new but it bear witness of the first call; you need the first before the second. The second awake is the strength of our Lord quickening our spirits and confirming this new established awakening in the spirit. Zion put on your strength for the spirit of the Lord is with you, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Moreover, according to the American Heritage Dictionary, the word awake means to rouse or become roused from sleep, to excite, to stir up, to become aware. The Lord wants to stir up the gifts that are inside of you and allow you to become spiritually aware of what is around you in the spirit. Awake from the world mentality of church and democracy. We should not mirror the church after the world or the economy but mirror, parallel, and synchronize the Kingdom of God on earth. We serve a real King who is the Lord Jesus Christ and we are His spiritual ambassadors on earth. We represent Him who sent us. The Lord is awakening our spirits to His voice. God is awakening our spirit from a sleeping position to an alert place in His presence. In addition, a prayer less saint is compare to a sinner or dead person spiritually. Prayer produces strength which is power. Awakening is prayer and prayer brings revelation, illumination, and prophetic/apostolic insight into the mind, will, and heart of the Father. Arise, Arise from where you are and move into the glorious presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, He is calling for us to come up hither. According to the American Heritage Dictionary, the word arise means to get up, to move upward or ascend, to proceed, or to originate. God is calling us to have a vertical relationship with Him so that we can move in the spirit horizontally. The church needs to be mobilized and it takes all of us to do it. God is calling each one of us to be world changers and impact our churches, communities, place of employments, cities, regions, and etc with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We should arise and awaken those who does not know Christ and be that Light to give them. Arise spiritually God’s people and His mighty church. It is time to be awakened by the King of kings and Lord of lords. Finally, we must understand it is about the King and His Kingdom, God is now demonstrating His Kingdom dominion and power in His submitted son and daughter. For where we move in the earth realm, the King is living, moving, and dwelling inside of us, so we have the spiritual kingdom power and influence of Christ. God wants His body to operate in their individual spheres of authority and power. God is awakening His body corporately, individually, socially, politically, and spiritually. The Church must realize and come into revelation of spirit of dominion that God has imparted man with, in the book of Genesis 1:26. We have been made in His God’s own image and made according to His likeness and He (God) has given them (male and female) dominion. The spirit of dominion is our God given right to be sons and daughters and of course His glorious body and church. God is restoring the apostolic and prophetic ministry and authority to the body. God is raising up a cutting edge spiritual army, Gideon and Joel army in this end-time that will move in the power and spirit of Elijah. The powerful church will be a GOVERNING voice to their city, government, region, businesses, homes, schools, communities, and all of the 12 systems of this world. God is raising up vanguard uncanny apostles and prophets with apostolic oils to get the tasks done for the King. God’s Kingdom will be established through His body and His church which shall be channel, vehicle, or platforms to educate the world about the King and His Kingdom. Awake! Awake, emerging apostles and prophets, for this is your hour and season to respond to the clarion call in the spirit and speak, decree, declare, build, plant, overrule, overtake, overthrow, root up, pluck up, throw down, and be violent for your King. It’s time to get in position to be that VOICE to herald a message of the Kingdom to His body and the lost in this world. It is time for a paradigm shift in our revelation and relationship with our Lord and Master. Release the supernatural power of God, with current Biblical truth, reformation, revival, transformation, and throne revelation to this next generation.
