These are some awesome directives given from one of my elders concerning the National Day of Prayer which is today. I thought you guys could definitely use this insight.
Why is it important to pray today?
Scripture says sound the alarm through prayer, fasting and repentance; Reference Joel 2. Our nation is in a spiritual crisis. The voices of the intercessors must be heard for reformation, restoration and revival to truly take place here in the USA. Nehemiah, Esther, Daniel, Jeremiah, Ezra and even Jesus Christ (Son of Man) are just a few biblical characters that set this pattern for us to follow!
- Repentance for the open and hidden sin of our country, even of our Founding Fathers. Heal our land; Joel 2 & 2 Chronicles 7:14
- Current President and Dick Chaney.
- Upcoming elections (primaries in Indiana next week).
- God is concerned about the releasing of true prophets (Eagles) in our nations. Prophets that will stand against the prophets of Baal (wisdom, false prophets of this Age) Reference 1 Kings 18.
- Justice/relief for the poor, impoverished, hurting & abused women and children.
- Rise up/groom pastors (ministers) the will follow the paradigm of “The Good Shepard” Ezekiel 34:11-31 & John 10:14
- Purity of Revivalists and street revivalists. Beyond of the Martin Luthers. Restoration of holiness and purity to the church, streets, and body of Christ.
- Jezebel: 2 Kings 9:22 One of the ruling principalities over the USA. Represents whoredoms (1John 2:16; lust that will never be satisfied, witchcraft ( Stubbornness, rebellion, no peace, and New Age delusion which influences doctrine, promotes hidden agendas & SELF-glorification). Apostle Matthew stated that it represents perversion of every type which is the opposite of Truth (the Spirit/Character of Christ).
- Release the Arch-Angels to fight against this territorial principality, to stop it’s agenda’s and subordinates. Release them to break the strong hold of it’s influence over our Country
